Summary
The Asset Protection Supervisor enforces and protects company interests and assets at the Seattle boutique through training, supervision, audits, investigations and physical security measures. This role reports to the Area Asset Protection Manager and supports loss prevention, safety and security for employees customers and merchandise. The supervisor coordinates with store management law enforcement and regional AP leadership to mitigate risk and maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
- Train coach and supervise AP associates including delegation of daily assignments
- Conduct audits inspections and maintain accurate AP records and documentation
- Investigate incidents and follow up with APM on internal and external investigations
- Perform routine facility safety and security inspections and communicate hazards to management
- Control physical access of associates and visitors and manage key audits and safe logs
- Monitor POS related activity review Cegid reports and report noncompliance to APM
- Maintain and troubleshoot AP equipment such as radios CCTV and keys
- Supervise off site sales and manage APA PTO scheduling and monthly planning
- Participate in damage meetings and coordinate with law enforcement as needed
Requirements
- 1-2 years asset protection retail or managerial experience preferred
- Security license where mandated and completion of required AP training certificates
- Strong written and verbal communication and decision making skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 25lbs and operate necessary equipment
- Attention to detail credibility trust and service orientation
- Ability to conduct public speaking for team education during meetings
- Ability to perform audits maintain documentation and follow AP procedures
