Part time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the store in Chevy Chase. The role focuses on visible deterrence, monitoring customer and associate activity, and supporting loss prevention initiatives. This position works closely with store leadership to identify and respond to security incidents while promoting a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence on the sales floor and perimeter
• Monitor store activity to deter theft and misconduct
• Report suspicious behavior and incidents to management
• Conduct routine patrols and surveillance
• Assist with incident documentation and evidence preservation
• Support store procedures for cash handling and inventory control
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant security or retail experience
• Ability to remain visible and mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to follow security procedures and use incident reporting systems
• Reliable availability for part time shifts including evenings and weekends
