Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - Huntington

Summary

The Asset Protection Visual Security Officer monitors the sales floor and store perimeter to deter theft and maintain a safe shopping environment. Uses observational techniques and CCTV to identify suspicious activity, engages with customers professionally, and reports incidents to management and law enforcement as needed. Works collaboratively with store teams to support loss prevention initiatives and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular floor patrols and monitor CCTV to detect and deter theft or other unsafe behavior.
• Observe, approach, and engage with individuals following company procedures to prevent loss.
• Document incidents, preserve evidence, and complete detailed reports for management and investigations.
• Coordinate with store leadership and local law enforcement when necessary and assist during emergency situations.
• Support store operations by maintaining visible presence and assisting with safety and security protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail loss prevention or security experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a background check and any required licensing or screening.
