Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - Roosevelt Field

Summary

As an Asset Protection Visual Security Officer you will help deter theft and maintain a safe shopping environment at the Roosevelt Field location. You will observe customer and employee activity, monitor surveillance systems, and document incidents for store leadership. This role partners with operations and, when necessary, local law enforcement to resolve safety or loss events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual surveillance of the sales floor and common areas to detect and deter theft or suspicious activity
• Monitor CCTV and perform regular patrols of the store and perimeter
• Prepare clear, timely incident reports and preserve evidence according to policy
• Coordinate with store management and law enforcement on investigations and apprehensions
• Assist with safety-related tasks and respond to incidents as they occur

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail loss prevention, security, or customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong observational, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass background checks and any required local licensing or training
