Summary
Support the Boutique Director in daily management of the sales team and ensure exceptional customer service and commercial performance for the leathergoods womens boutique in the Miami Design District. Assist with opening and closing, staff coaching, scheduling, merchandising, inventory and loss prevention to meet brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Increase sales and monitor sales performance and conversion rates daily
- Coach, train, develop, and lead sales associates in selling skills and product knowledge
- Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals and clientele development
- Participate in merchandise displays and presentations following merchandising guidelines
- Coordinate and participate in department inventories and manage transfers and returns to vendor
- Oversee adherence to company policies, security, cash handling, and record keeping
- Open and close the boutique and lock and secure the store
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and optimize capture rate and after sale database development
- Help solve operational problems affecting service, efficiency, and productivity
Requirements
- At least 5 years of retail experience, preferably with luxury products
- At least 1 year of management experience in a retail setting
- Commercial initiative and creativity with fashion sensitivity
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to open and/or close the store as needed
- Ability to maintain presence on the selling floor for extended periods
- Knowledge of luxury industry standards and merchandising concepts
