Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in driving sales, managing staff, merchandise and the customer experience for a luxury retail boutique. This role assists in achieving sales objectives, developing the sales team and ensuring high service and visual standards while overseeing store operations in the managerâs absence.
Responsibilities
- Support sales team to deliver a luxury customer experience and meet or exceed store goals
- Partner with Boutique Manager to monitor performance and adjust strategies to hit sales targets
- Address and escalate client issues and develop client relationships and clienteling
- Lead the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager and foster a professional team environment
- Coach sales associates and support their development and training
- Manage daily store operations including timekeeping payroll tasks with manager approval
- Maintain inventory accuracy and execute loss prevention initiatives
- Assist with visual merchandising and execution of product launches and special events
- Oversee repair process and follow up to ensure timely resolution
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience
- Previous high end watch or luxury retail sales experience preferred
- Strong organization, communication and follow up skills
- Ability to understand sales, budgets, goals and scheduling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and results oriented mindset
- Highly flexible and able to work as part of a team in a demanding environment
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to brand standards
