Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Director/Manager in day to day management of the sales team and boutique operations to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and protect inventory in line with brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily boutique operations including opening and closing the store
- Coach, train, schedule, and develop sales associates to achieve sales targets
- Monitor sales performance and conversion rates and assist in assigning sales goals
- Participate in merchandise displays, presentations, and visual standards
- Manage clientele development and support clienteling activities and promotions
- Coordinate and participate in department inventories and stock management tasks
- Oversee compliance with company policies procedures and security protocols
- Handle transfers damages returns to vendor and price monitoring to minimize stock losses
- Facilitate communication between management and associates and participate in store meetings
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales with responsibility for coaching or supervising staff
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and develop client relationships
- Knowledge of merchandising standards inventory procedures and sales reporting
- Strong communication time management and organizational skills in a fast paced environment
- Experience operating POS systems cash handling and other store equipment
- Ability to train develop and lead sales associates toward sales and clienteling objectives
- Attention to detail and commitment to following company policies and security procedures
