With thousands of watches available from more than 50 brands, including Rolex, Omega, IWC and more, plus boutiques across the UK and a manufacturer certified service centre, Watchfinder has established itself as the top pre-owned watch specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Performance & Sales

  • Support the Boutique Manager in driving boutique sales and achieving commercial objectives.
  • Monitor key KPIs including sales, conversion, average transaction value, traffic, appointments and individual performance.
  • Identify performance opportunities and propose clear actions to improve results.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, actively engaging clients and supporting the team in converting opportunities.
  • Support the team on complex negotiations, high-value transactions and key client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with Purchasing, Merchandising and other internal teams to maximize commercial opportunities.

Client Experience & In-Store Journey

  • Ensure every client receives a consistent, elevated and personalized Watchfinder experience.
  • Act as an ambassador for Watchfinder and the wider Richemont Group.
  • Ensure the boutique is always correctly prepared and maintained to welcome clients through operating hours.
  • Coordinate appointments, walk-ins and omni-channel activities to deliver a seamless client journey.
  • Develop strong client relationships and encourage disciplined CRM usage and client follow-up across the team.
  • Handle client escalations confidently and professionally, finding solutions that protect both the client relationship and the business.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Support the Boutique Manager in leading, motivating and developing the boutique team.
  • Help set and follow up individual objectives and development plans.
  • Conduct regular coaching, feedback and 1-to-1 conversations to improve individual and collective performance.
  • Lead daily briefs, share business priorities and ensure the team understands its objectives and performance.
  • Identify training and development opportunities across sales techniques, product expertise, hospitality and clienteling.
  • Participate in recruitment and support the onboarding, induction and probation of new team members.
  • Create a positive, accountable and performance-driven team environment.
  • Act as the leader of the boutique in the Boutique Manager’s absence.

Boutique Operations

  • Ensure smooth and disciplined execution of all day-to-day boutique operations.
  • Supervise back-office activities including stock management, POS displays, cash procedures, documentation and administrative requirements.
  • Support the Boutique Manager in building and managing team schedules according to business needs.
  • Ensure all retail procedures are consistently followed, including selling, customer service, stock management, security and loss prevention.
  • Act as a key user for relevant sales, CRM, customer service and back-office systems.
  • Ensure KPIs and reporting are accurate, timely and used effectively to support business decisions.
  • Maintain strong stock accuracy and ensure high-value inventory is handled according to security procedures.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to continuously improve processes and boutique efficiency.

Watch Expertise & Brand Standards

  • Develop an excellent understanding of Watchfinder, its proposition and its role within the pre-owned luxury watch market.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of luxury watchmaking, key Maisons, collections, references and market dynamics.
  • Act as a source of expertise for both clients and colleagues and continuously develop knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure Watchfinder’s visual identity and merchandising standards are consistently executed.
  • Ensure the boutique environment, product presentation and overall client-facing standards reflect the positioning of Watchfinder and Richemont.

Qualifications / Profile: We would love to meet someone who has:

  • Proven experience in luxury retail, ideally within watches, jewelry or another high-value client environment.
  • Previous experience supervising, coaching or developing a retail sales team.
  • A strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering against sales targets and KPIs.
  • A client-first mentality combined with the ability to drive conversion and commercial performance.
  • Strong leadership skills and the confidence to take ownership of the boutique when required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and operational discipline.
  • Confidence working with KPIs, reporting and performance analysis.
  • The ability to prioritize and make sound decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented and hands-on approach.
  • Strong interest in luxury watches and watchmaking; existing watch expertise is highly valued.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across functions and with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
