Summary
Six month full-time contract position supporting finance and operations for fashion maisons across Oceania. The role partners with retail and operational teams to deliver business planning, financial performance reporting, internal controls, and project support to drive profitability and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles and present to regional office.
- Prepare monthly results with variance analysis and stakeholder commentaries.
- Act as finance business partner to retail and operations to support commercial decision-making.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis on sales, expenses, and spend.
- Prepare month-end accruals, journal entries, and review OPEX.
- Work with regional accounting to optimise balance sheet performance and working capital.
- Review stock reconciliations and monitor inventory performance.
- Support internal control activities including retail audits and stocktakes.
- Participate in projects such as POS implementations and network expansion finance support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in FP&A, management accounting, or similar commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and work in a matrixed multi-country environment.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with Microsoft AX, SAP, or POS systems desirable.
