Job Description

Summary

As an Assistant Chef Operations - Mode at Chanel in Candiac, QC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations activities of the Mode division. Your responsibilities will include supervising fashion receptions, executing performance indicator reports for deliveries, managing end-of-collection processes, and supporting future developments. You will need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset, along with proficiency in computer systems.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the management of incoming shipments and adjust priorities as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Execute performance indicator reports for deliveries, tracking and reporting on collections, average delays, and performance trends.
  • Oversee dormant stock management and coordinate returns to headquarters with the merchandising manager.
  • Actively participate in organizing staff sales in collaboration with the merchandising manager.
  • Engage in the recycling process of unsold products, preparing documentation and attending meetings with the global team.
  • Manage D365 updates, testing, priority tracking, and coordination with the IT department.
  • Supervise budget and order audits for uniforms and packaging.
  • Lead future developments, including projects for simplifying online order packaging and developing uniform applications.
  • Supervise the operations coordinator.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven experience in inventory and operations management.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in D365 or other relevant software.
  • Data analysis skills to maintain and interpret performance indicator reports.
  • Budget management capabilities.
  • Experience in leading IT development projects.
