Responsibilities
- Directly oversee sales and profit performance in the assigned department.
- Achieve shrinkage goals and implement loss prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and monitor operating budgets.
- Work with Buyers and Planners to identify high sales and profit potential items.
- Partner with the Visual Presentation team for merchandise presentation.
- Identify improvements in store operations and merchandise flow.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maximize sales and profit performance.
- Coach and mentor staff to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
- Execute Polo’s promotional strategies to support sales and profit objectives.
- Maintain awareness of store performance and market trends by visiting competitors.
- Create a welcoming environment that exceeds customer expectations.
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant retail management experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Strong business acumen and enthusiasm for Polo’s lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach and develop staff effectively.
