Assistant Gallery Leader

Summary

The Assistant Gallery Leader supports gallery operations and leads cross-functional teams to deliver a luxury customer experience. This role coaches and develops associates, supports leadership initiatives, and ensures execution with a strong commitment to quality. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills in a high-end retail showroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop gallery associates to foster a positive and high-performing team environment
• Represent the brand through polished communication, appearance and professionalism
• Support leadership with new initiatives, training and execution of gallery goals
• Attract and help hire talent for the gallery
• Set strategy and ensure high-quality execution across customer experience and operations
• Recognize and respond appropriately to complex priorities and changing business needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in high-end furniture, design showrooms, or luxury retail
• Interior design experience preferred
• Superior organization, leadership, analytical and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire others
• Proficient with current technology (iPad, Mac, PC)
• Ability to lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs and perform prolonged standing, bending and maneuvering on the gallery floor
