Job Description

Summary

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at our Elizabethtown Fulfillment Center is responsible for leading operations teams and ensuring the efficiency of day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Building Director/GM, the AGM plays a critical role in succession planning within the Fulfillment network, requiring a combination of focus, flexibility, and active management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise Operations Managers across all shifts, overseeing all processing functional areas.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing managers and employees.
  • Drive effective communication across processing areas to align with building goals and key initiatives.
  • Participate as a key stakeholder in building-level process, capital, or improvement projects.
  • Achieve defined operational metrics and expense objectives within the assigned area.
  • Plan programs to meet high-level business objectives established by top-level management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of Fulfillment Center leadership experience.
  • Graduate-level degree in a related discipline is a plus.
  • Strong capability in managing large teams and effective communication skills.
  • Experience in data-driven decision making and building effective teams.
  • Ability to develop reliable, cost-effective systems and procedures.
  • Proven success in identifying, developing, and retaining quality talent.
