Assistant Manager - Asset Protection - Pentagon City

Summary

The Assistant Asset Protection Manager supports store security and safety operations, responds to security and emergency incidents, and helps lead the store Emergency Response team. This role observes and investigates potential theft and fraud, coaches asset protection staff, and ensures accurate incident reporting and evidence review.

Responsibilities

• Work with Asset Protection leadership to maintain building security and safety
• Respond to and report store security and emergency situations, including administering first aid and escorting hostile individuals
• Partner with the Asset Protection Manager on employee safety incidents and participate in the Emergency Response team
• Observe customer behavior for indicators of internal and external theft, fraud, or shoplifting
• Coach Asset Protection employees to meet performance standards and expectations
• Review and approve loss prevention reports and document review of detention room videotapes

Requirements

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards
• Strong organizational, delegation, and follow-through skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency, including monitoring and surveillance technologies
• Understanding of APIS and XBR preferred
