Assistant Manager - Asset Protection - Washington Square

Summary

The Assistant Asset Protection Manager is responsible for supporting building security and safety, responding to store security and emergency situations, and partnering with leadership to coach asset protection staff and ensure proper reporting of loss prevention incidents.

Responsibilities

• Work with Asset Protection leadership to ensure building security and safety
• Respond to and report store security and emergency situations including first aid and escorts
• Participate in the store Emergency Response team when necessary
• Observe customer behavior for indicators of internal and external theft
• Assist in coaching Asset Protection employees to meet performance standards
• Review and approve reports to ensure loss prevention incidents are documented properly
• Document review of detention room videotapes

Requirements

• Proven experience in investigative asset protection and security procedures
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with employees and leaders
• Strong organizational, delegation and follow through skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Computer proficiency including monitoring and surveillance technologies
• Familiarity with APIS and XBR preferred
