The Assistant Manager - Beauty supports the Department Manager in driving sales through directive selling, coaching the team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining merchandising and inventory standards. This role focuses on achieving department volume and productivity goals and acting as a product knowledge and fashion role model.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling techniques to meet or exceed sales goals
• Build and maintain personal trade and customer relationships
• Assist the Department Manager in developing and executing a business plan
• Coach and develop sales associates to improve performance and customer service
• Act as a product knowledge expert and fashion role model for customers
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Support accurate inventory management and loss prevention

Requirements

• Track record of successful sales results and strong productivity
• Proficiency with directive selling and achieving sales targets
• Ability to use key metrics to identify opportunities and drive volume
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience coaching and leading retail sales teams
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
