Assistant Manager

Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the Managing Director and Floor Director in operating the boutique, developing sales, and delivering an exceptional luxury client experience. This role leads and coaches sales staff, supports client development, and helps maintain the boutique's profitability and inventory standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, train, and support sales staff in achieving sales objectives and delivering exceptional service.
• Identify sales opportunities through business reviews, delivery tracking, special orders, and individual sales goals.
• Monitor CRM compliance and client information quality, and communicate policies and procedures.
• Support performance evaluations, staff scheduling and attendance, seasonal training, recruiting, and interviewing.
• Help achieve boutique sales goals, maintain profitability and accurate inventory, and make operational decisions in leadership's absence.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of retail management experience; luxury experience preferred.
• Proficiency in basic office tools, including Excel and Word, and ability to learn merchandise, POS, and payroll systems.
• Ability to interpret sales data and make effective business recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work flexibly based on business needs.
• Regular in-person work at the designated location is required.
