Summary

The Assistant Sales Department Manager supports the department manager in achieving sales and productivity goals for kidswear and kids shoes by recruiting, training and coaching the team and delivering exceptional customer service on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train department sales team
• Develop and execute business plans to achieve volume and productivity goals
• Coach salespeople to deliver outstanding customer service
• Actively sell on the floor to build customer relationships and loyalty
• Support merchandising and presentation standards
• Assist with inventory management and shrinkage control
• Collaborate with department manager and divisional merchandisers
