Assistant Manager, Merchandising Operations

Summary

The Assistant Manager, Merchandising Operations supports product positioning, inventory distribution, and merchandising strategies across boutiques and online retail. This New York office role serves as a central contact for commercial teams and helps ensure product availability supports sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Support product placement, model stock levels, and inventory rebalancing across the boutique network and online retail.
• Partner with commercial teams and regional management, responding to merchandising inquiries and monitoring transfer and client order KPIs.
• Coordinate distribution for launches, boutique openings, consignments, ad hoc shipments, packaging, and sales accessories.
• Fulfill wholesale partner requests and prepare model stock shipments.
• Share boutique feedback with Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams.
• Support merchandising strategies and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least two years of merchandising or supply chain experience, preferably in luxury goods.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude for working with figures.
• High emotional intelligence and maturity.
• Previous SAP knowledge is a plus.
