Assistant Manager

Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in leading store operations, delivering memorable customer experiences, and achieving sales and profit goals. This role leads the sales floor, builds customer relationships, and helps develop the store team while upholding the brand's elevated image.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit performance, meet sales and margin goals, and monitor operating budgets.
• Set sales goals, supervise associates, and coach and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Support recruitment, staff development, and initiatives that motivate the team and grow sales.
• Execute visual presentation standards, loss prevention procedures, and asset protection practices.
• Share feedback with buying and allocation teams and support promotional strategies.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience preferred, with strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and business skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop staff and work collaboratively toward goals.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, move around the store, operate a register, lift up to 30 pounds, and climb a ladder as trained.
