Assistant Manager

Summary

Lead the sales floor to deliver memorable customer experiences, build client relationships, and achieve sales and profit goals. Partner with the General Manager to support store operations and develop the store team.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and profit performance, meet sales and margin goals, and monitor operating budgets.
• Set sales goals, supervise and develop associates, and coach the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and execute visual presentation and merchandise initiatives.
• Implement loss prevention procedures and support asset protection and shrink reduction.
• Recruit and motivate staff, fill open roles promptly, and partner with senior management on promotional strategies.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and financial skills.
• Ability to motivate, guide, and develop individuals and teams.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and maneuver around the sales floor and stock areas.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred.
