Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the Floor Director and Managing Director to run all aspects of the boutique including driving sales, developing clients, coaching staff, and ensuring operational standards in a fast paced luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach sales staff, provide daily floor leadership and model exceptional service
- Support sales growth through client development and CRM initiatives
- Review business metrics weekly to identify sales opportunities and track orders
- Conduct touch base meetings and assist with performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage scheduling, timekeeping and vacation records with HR
- Organize seasonal trainings and share product and process updates
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing and maintaining candidate database
- Make store decisions and assume leadership in absence of senior leaders
Requirements
- 4+ years of retail management experience
- Prior luxury retail experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, POS systems, Cegid and E time
- Ability to interpret sales data and make business recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance
- Flexible availability to meet business needs
- Experience supervising sales staff and achieving sales targets
