Summary

The Assistant Sales Department Manager helps lead the women's sales department, achieve sales and productivity goals, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role supports the department manager while coaching and developing the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate team members.
• Help develop and execute a business plan to achieve department volume and productivity goals.
• Coach salespeople and lead by example to ensure outstanding customer service.
• Maintain merchandising and presentation standards.
• Build customer relationships through active selling on the sales floor.
• Support accurate inventory management and shrinkage goals.

Requirements

• Track record of successful results, including strong productivity and personal trade.
• Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment.
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• Experience building productive relationships with department and store managers, retail merchandisers, and other leaders.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
