Summary

The Assistant Sales Department Manager supports the department manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in the women's shoes department. This role focuses on coaching the sales team, achieving productivity and volume goals, maintaining merchandising standards, and assisting with inventory and shrink management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit hire train develop and motivate the sales team
• Assist department manager in achieving department volume and productivity goals
• Develop and execute a business plan for the department
• Coach and lead salespeople to deliver outstanding customer service
• Actively sell on the floor to build customer relationships and loyalty
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Assist with accurate inventory management and achieving shrinkage goals

Requirements

• Track record of successful sales results and strong productivity
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a commission based environment
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with store leaders
• Strong organizational skills and follow through
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
