Assistant, Marketplace Business Development & Account Management

Summary

Support the day-to-day execution of Bloomingdale’s growing online Marketplace business across business development, seller onboarding, and account management. Help ensure a smooth seller experience and timely launch and ongoing execution for a portfolio of more than 300 brands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain business development trackers, reports, seller documentation, and follow-up communications.
• Track seller progress, identify outstanding actions, and escalate roadblocks that may affect onboarding timelines.
• Complete onboarding tasks, including creating DVNs, setting up seller financial accounts, and monitoring launch schedules.
• Support routine seller communications, assortment submissions and approvals, promotions, and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow established processes, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Relevant experience in merchandising, retail, e-commerce, or online marketplaces is a plus, but not required.
