Job Description

Summary

Assist Product Developers and Merchants in developing women's apparel products from concept through production while supporting cost, quality, and timeline goals. This hybrid role is based at the downtown Seattle headquarters and collaborates with internal teams and vendors to ensure tech packs and prototypes meet standards and milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of products engineered to cost standards and category goals
  • Review prototypes against tech packs and manage revisions
  • Create revise and manage tech packs and prototypes with timely PLM updates
  • Track and monitor samples through development stages
  • Review and reconcile fabric and garment test reports
  • Support negotiation with vendors on costing time and action and minimums
  • Place developed and adopted styles per sourcing strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years experience in product development design or production in garment manufacturing
  • Strong problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Clear effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Excel and Outlook
