Assistant Store Manager - Madison Ave (RTW)

Overview

• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals while delivering an exceptional, personalized client experience reflective of the brand’s high standards.
  
• Partner closely with the Store Manager to support the execution of daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, and visual presentation.
  
• Act as a role model and mentor to sales associates, fostering a culture of elevated service, accountability, and enthusiasm for fashion.
  
• Maintain strong product knowledge across ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry categories to confidently advise clients and drive conversion.
  
• Assist in scheduling, onboarding, and training new team members.
  
• Support the Store Manager in analyzing business results, identifying opportunities, and executing action plans to grow sales and profitability.
  
• Help plan and host in-store events, private client appointments, and community-building initiatives.
  
• Ensure adherence to operational standards, company policies, and loss prevention procedures.
  

• 5+ years of experience in luxury retail, with proven personal sales performance and leadership capabilities.
  
• Strong understanding of luxury clientele and the service expectations of Madison Avenue shoppers.
  
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
  
• Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
  
• Proficient with POS systems and retail reporting tools.
  
• A genuine passion for fashion and emerging designers, with the ability to convey brand storytelling to clients.
