Assistant Store Manager - Ontario Mills

Summary

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, team leadership, merchandise presentation, and sales performance. This role leads by example to deliver inclusive client experiences and contribute to the store's commercial success.

Responsibilities

• Support selling-floor activity, sales, customer issue resolution, and customer service standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and support updates that improve sales.
• Coach, train, motivate, and develop associates; support recruitment and succession planning.
• Assist with daily operations, performance indicators, inventory accuracy, shrink control, and store standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience, including experience managing others in a customer service environment.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and coach team members.
• Strong analytical, communication, customer service, and business skills, with the ability to assess retail KPIs.
• Computer proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
