Assistant Store Manager

Summary

Lead the sales floor to deliver memorable customer experiences, build client relationships, and achieve sales and profit goals. Partner with the General Manager to support store leadership and develop the store team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales, margin, and operating performance, and establish individual sales goals for associates.
• Coach and develop staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain the store environment and execute visual presentation initiatives.
• Support loss prevention, asset protection, recruiting, and staff development.
• Coordinate with buying, allocation, and senior management teams on merchandise feedback and promotional strategies.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Analytical, business, and financial acumen.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and maneuver around the sales floor and stock areas.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred.
