Assistant Store Manager responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily operations to optimize sales performance, inventory management, and client relationships while upholding luxury service standards. The role involves team leadership, operational oversight, and delivering an exceptional selling ceremony to contribute to business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager in leading the store team through delegation and performance management.
- Identify opportunities to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiencies.
- Facilitate communication between store team and corporate partners to align on objectives.
- Deliver high level luxury service and manage critical customer situations professionally.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top clients and manage VIC initiatives.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and career development plans for team members.
- Participate in hiring and lead team meetings to communicate priorities and performance.
- Oversee inventory processes including cycle counts, stock consolidations, and fiscal inventory.
- Manage after sales processes such as alterations, repairs, and spare parts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of management and sales experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of sales, operations, and inventory management.
- Ability to travel and work weekends as required.
- Capacity to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to enforce labor laws, safety procedures, and sales regulations.
