Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, sales optimization, inventory control, and team development to deliver exceptional luxury service and drive store performance.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in delegating tasks and managing store team performance
- Identify opportunities to optimize sales growth and operational efficiencies
- Facilitate communication between store, manager, and corporate partners
- Ensure high level of luxury service during the sales process and handle critical situations professionally
- Develop and manage relationships with top clients and VIC initiatives
- Coach and provide feedback to team members and create development plans
- Participate in hiring and lead team meetings on performance and priorities
- Oversee inventory processes including cycle counts and stock consolidations
- Manage store operations including opening closing activities and facilities reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years management and sales experience preferably in luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office SAP and other digital tools
- Strong leadership teamwork and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of sales operations inventory and store financials
- Ability to travel and work weekends
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Experience developing career plans and coaching staff
