Job Description

Summary

Assist the Technical Design team in creating Nordstrom Brand womenswear within assigned categories, ensuring products meet design and fit intent and align with Brand DNA. Follow a hybrid schedule based at downtown Seattle headquarters and support sample evaluation, measurement, and documentation throughout development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, concise tech packs including measurement worksheets and construction images
  • Evaluate samples to ensure specifications quality and construction standards are met
  • Measure samples and document findings
  • Participate in fit sessions and provide technical feedback
  • Support the team to meet calendar milestones and due dates
  • Maintain sample organization throughout development and production lifecycle
  • Assist in special projects as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in apparel design apparel manufacturing pattern making or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in technical design or related field
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Clear effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
