Associate, Audit And Control - Cash Office

Summary

The Associate, Audit And Control performs switchboard, general office, accounts payable and daily balancing functions within the Cash Office while supporting internal store services such as parcel and bag check and procedural inquiries. This role ensures accurate financial support including reconciliations, invoice coding, petty cash management and chargeback investigations while maintaining office standards and compliance with privacy and cyber security measures. The position interacts with internal and external clients to support financial and operational objectives. The role is based on site at the store location.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls and route or message according to company standards
• Maintain and update the phone directory for the location
• Oversee repairs of technical systems such as POS
• Perform banking reconciliation and daily balancing tasks
• Code invoices and manage petty cash transactions
• Investigate chargebacks and manage No Inventory Value tracking
• Conduct department audits of company policies and procedures
• Provide follow up support on audits to ensure compliance
• Maintain a neat and secure office to mitigate loss

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years previous work experience in a similar environment; retail preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform financial reconciliations and manage petty cash
• Familiarity with privacy policies regulations and cyber security measures
