Job Description

Summary

Responsible for operating the switchboard, providing administrative services, supporting accounts payable and balance sheet functions within the central office, and delivering internal services to the store including general requests, package check in and employee bag checks. The role includes supporting financial tasks such as bank reconciliations and chargeback investigations and ensuring compliance with company policies and privacy and cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls according to company standards and direct or deliver messages promptly
  • Maintain the location telephone directory
  • Oversee repairs of technical systems including point of sale equipment
  • Provide financial support through bank reconciliations, invoice coding and petty cash management
  • Investigate chargebacks and manage customer owned merchandise tracking
  • Perform department and service policy and procedure verifications
  • Support and follow up on audits to ensure compliance
  • Maintain administrative work practices and an orderly workplace to limit losses
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory and cybersecurity requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of prior experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
  • Proven attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully bilingual in French and English
