Summary
The Associate Brand Manager, Whiskey supports development and execution of consumer-centric brand marketing strategy for the U.S. American whiskey portfolio, partnering with senior brand leaders and cross-functional teams to drive brand KPIs and commercial objectives. This role helps plan 360-degree brand programs, oversees activations and trade initiatives, and collaborates with agencies, finance, and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing programs.
Responsibilities
- Support development of U.S. American whiskey portfolio marketing strategies and strategic briefs for agencies
- Create presentations and tools to secure internal and external buy-in
- Track brand KPIs and optimize performance against business objectives
- Oversee execution of brand programs and activations across channels and markets
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing to develop luxury POSM and brand assets
- Partner with Finance on volume, profit goals, A&P phasing, and purchase order timing
- Support allocations and launches for VAPs and limited editions
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, distributors, and field teams
- Support planning of sales incentives, distributor conferences, and customer presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or MBA or equivalent experience
- 3 years of brand marketing experience (profile lists 3-5 years)
- Experience in luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders
- Strong presentation and analytical skills to support data-driven decisions
- Experience managing agencies and third-party vendors
- Knowledge of brand strategy development in a commercial context
