Summary
The Associate Brand Manager, Whiskey supports development and execution of U.S. Single Malt brand marketing strategy and programming across channels, working closely with senior brand leaders, cross functional teams, agencies, distributors, and field teams. This role contributes to strategic planning, campaign development, performance tracking, and product activation to drive brand KPIs and commercial objectives. The position is hybrid based out of the New York City office.
Responsibilities
- Support development of U.S. Single Malt portfolio marketing strategies and brand plans.
- Create presentations and tools to secure internal and external buy in.
- Oversee execution of 360 degree brand programs and activations across markets and channels.
- Collaborate with trade marketing to design luxury POSM and brand assets.
- Partner with Finance to manage A&P, phasing, pacing, and reporting.
- Manage agency relationships and third party vendors as key point of contact.
- Work with field marketing and sales teams to deliver market specific programs.
- Support planning and execution of sales incentives, distributor conferences, and customer presentations.
- Ensure on time delivery of programs and adapt to evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or MBA or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of brand marketing experience (3-5 years preferred) in luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits.
- Strong presentation and analytical skills with Microsoft Office proficiency, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Knowledge of brand strategy development and U.S. luxury trends.
- Experience influencing cross functional stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Experience managing agencies and third party vendors.
- Understanding of U.S. three tier distribution system is a plus.
