Associate Designer - Men's Apparel

Summary

The Associate Designer creates original, saleable men's apparel concepts based on direction from the Senior Designer. This role researches trends and collaborates with design and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and accurately sketch design ideas based on direction from the Senior Designer.
• Prepare and present design sketches to cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with the design team and cross-divisional partners.
• Support the Senior Designer in preparing for key milestones.
• Research trends and competitive brands and report findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design and at least 2 years of design industry experience.
• Strong design portfolio and/or resume.
• Strong hand-sketching ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of the industry and trends, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time and multitask, and adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
