Job Description

Summary

Join the Design Studio as an Associate Eyewear Designer to support development of brand-aligned sun and optical collections. This on-site role contributes to concept creation, technical drawings, prototyping, and production while collaborating with creative leadership and global manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop new eyewear concepts including frame bodies, colorways, and materials.
  • Produce and revise CADs and technical specifications for prototypes and production.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Product teams to align designs with sales and assortment strategies.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Design team to ensure creative consistency and approvals.
  • Maintain design studio assets including libraries, tech packs, color samples, and digital files.
  • Manage projects through development and costing while coordinating with overseas manufacturers.
  • Prepare and present design reviews and respond to leadership feedback constructively.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in sun and optical eyewear design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD design software.
  • Understanding of eyewear materials, fit, and production methods.
  • Strong visual sensibility and ability to translate brand vision into detailed design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
  • Highly organized, proactive, result driven, and detail oriented.
