Summary
Report directly to the General Manager and support development and leadership of a high performance store team to drive sales, profitability and superior customer service. Act as a role model on the sales floor while assisting with day to day store operations, visual standards, loss prevention and clienteling for a luxury specialty retail store.
Responsibilities
- Support development and leadership of the sales team through training coaching and motivation
- Assist the General Manager in monitoring daily store activities and staff efficiency
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with new and existing clients
- Support back of house operations including inventory shipping receiving POS and maintenance
- Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained
- Enforce security measures to achieve optimum shrink results and inventory accuracy
- Collaborate on events marketing and client experience research and present recommendations
- Demonstrate accountability in delegating and managing staff to maintain a professional work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience luxury retail preferred
- Full understanding of specialty retail including clienteling visual merchandising and store operations
- Proficiency with retail point of sale systems and Microsoft Word Excel and email
- Strong leadership critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task and perform in a high paced environment
