Summary
Lead and support dining room operations within the Design Gallery hospitality concept, partnering with the Hospitality Leader to drive service excellence, team development, and operational performance. Serve as a hands-on leader responsible for guest experience, staff training, and stepping in to run operations in the leader's absence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Team Members through structured training and in-the-moment coaching
- Partner with the Hospitality Leader on recruitment hiring and onboarding
- Implement and uphold quality safety and service standards across hospitality spaces
- Engage with guests and act as a resource to ensure a seamless experience
- Support financial goals by assessing labor and sales performance and implementing improvements
- Create strategic team schedules to optimize business and client experience
- Assume full leadership responsibilities when the Hospitality Leader is absent
- Provide feedback to maintain compliance with regulations and operational excellence
Requirements
- 3+ years hospitality leadership experience in a high volume full-service restaurant or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage financial performance including labor and food costs
- Experience with Microsoft Excel inventory management and point of sale systems
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across leadership levels
- Legal authorization to work in the country at time of application
- Flexibility to work weekends holidays and variable shifts
- Ability to frequently move and lift items up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
