SummaryAs an Associate Manager in Production Planning and Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that SirDavis consistently exceeds demand forecasts. You will orchestrate whisky, cask, and dry goods deliveries, aligning them with bottling requirements to meet customer demand both in the USA and globally.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement best practice SOPs for inventory management, planning, and master data.
- Manage production planning and schedules, optimizing capacity, inventory, and financial objectives on-site and at 3rd Party Bottling partners.
- Oversee whisky, production, and material planning to meet customer requirements.
- Develop whisky demand models using growth forecasts and standardized recipe tools.
- Review and develop capacities for short to long-term demand versus plant capability, designing and implementing production strategies and maintaining target inventory levels.
- Create, implement, and monitor supply chain KPIs to drive business improvements.
- Ensure effective communication with internal teams and external customers through MHUSA/MH Champagne Services/MH Asia Pacific.
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service, and Procurement to ensure timely information and data accuracy, avoiding supply chain disruptions.
- Work with Central IT to implement new tools and support processes to enhance supply planning efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control processes: adjustments, reconciliation, cycle counting, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain tools to track key inventory metrics.
- Ensure compliance with requisition, purchase order, and inventory guidelines.
- Assess and optimize material handling equipment and staffing needs.
- Partner with Operations to improve inventory turns, reduce waste, and enhance customer service.
- Manage relationships with shipping partners for timely and secure global delivery.
- Develop KPIs for whisky, finished goods, and dry goods stock accuracy and value.
- Compile reports and work closely with Finance for monthly and annual TTB reports.
Requirements- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial supply chain role.
- Good working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and associated shipping processes.
- Good understanding of whisky production, incoming and outgoing logistics processes.
- Experience with capital planning, project management, and financial management.
- Experience with SAP or a similar integrated ERP system.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft appliances.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business.
