Associate Manager, Purchasing

Summary

We are seeking a proactive procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and support procurement transformation. The Associate Manager, Purchasing will drive value creation through supplier performance management, cost optimization, and process improvements. The role partners cross-functionally to deliver sourcing projects and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement excellence and transformation initiatives, including process simplification and automation.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories; assist with RFIs/RFPs and negotiations.
• Monitor supplier performance, support contract implementation, and contribute to risk mitigation and sustainability efforts.
• Analyze spend data to identify cost optimization and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align purchasing strategies with operational and commercial priorities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of purchasing or related experience, ideally in the beauty industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills and experience with procurement reporting tools or ERP systems.
• Experience supporting RFIs/RFPs, supplier selection, and basic negotiations.
• Ability to translate spend data into actionable insights and influence stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, integrity, and motivation to drive procurement initiatives.
