Associate Manager

Summary

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in developing strategic plans and executing initiatives to achieve a profitable store. This role helps lead store operations, talent development, client engagement, and sales-floor execution while maintaining Ralph Lauren brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business trends and support strategic planning and store initiatives.
• Educate the team on sales and profit performance, and help create a consistent customer experience.
• Support client development, community outreach, recruitment, coaching, and talent development.
• Manage store processes, inventory control, productivity, and sales-floor standards.
• Promote new selling technologies, uphold company policies, and share business insights with leadership.

Requirements

• Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment is preferred.
• Strong communication, business acumen, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts or travel.
