Associate Manager

Summary

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in strategic planning and execution to ensure a profitable store. This role drives operational excellence, talent development, and new selling methods to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The Associate Manager acts as a key decision maker in the GM's absence and ensures store standards and brand integrity are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with business analysis and strategic planning for the store
• Educate and coach the team on sales tools, performance metrics, and client development strategies
• Create and maintain a consistent customer experience aligned to brand expectations
• Lead local recruitment, community outreach, and talent development activities
• Manage store processes including inventory control and shrink prevention
• Champion use of technology and New Ways of Selling to drive results
• Maintain sales floor standards and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Retail management experience in a complex, high-volume specialty environment preferred
• Strong communication, planning, prioritization, and business acumen
• Ability to stand and walk for multiple hours and lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel
• Proven track record of building positive relationships with customers and team members
