Summary
The Associate Manager, Trade Marketing - Spirits translates brand strategy into commercial visibility and selling materials, creates brand programs, and acts as liaison between Brand Teams and Field and Trade Marketing. This role supports on and off premise channels, oversees agency partners, and ensures program rollouts aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Translate brand strategy into commercial brand standards and tactical guidelines for on and off premise channels.
- Create core commercial program ideas and best in class POSM and selling materials.
- Develop sell sheets and materials for sales teams and distributor reps to drive business.
- Engage and oversee third party agencies for ideation and creation of materials.
- Collaborate with Brand teams to ensure quarterly program rollouts and alignment with strategy.
- Support Field Marketing on program details, material availability, and key initiatives.
- Work with Customer Programming Leads to align subchannel playbooks with Brand strategy.
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights to incorporate consumer trends into selling materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing or creative marketing experience in wines and spirits, CPG, or retail.
- Strong commercial strategy and sales or marketing experience with strategic orientation.
- Experience with information systems and digital platforms and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication and cross functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet commitments.
- Experience with beverage alcohol three tier system is a plus.
