You will analyze historical and in-season selling to guide and action future seasons plans, and be responsible for developing assortment plans that deliver corporate objectives.
Responsibilities- Deliver financial results through assortment strategies using current and historical trends.
- Create and maintain complete style plans in buy tools and key item planning tools for in-season and pre-season Retail Sales, GM, and inventory.
- Communicate and analyze financial strategies for key programs in pre-season meetings.
- Oversee and approve allocation strategies to support financial goals.
- Meet with cross-functional team to ensure departmental strategies align to short and long-term objectives.
- Quantify and ensure assortment supports financial targets in partnership with planner.
- Collaborate with buyer to work through assortment gaps and challenges.
- Execute store clustering and attribute analysis.
- Ensure accuracy of GFE projections for all styles, including 6-month projections for core/BSR.
- Accountable for executing receipt management, reconciliation, and reflow opportunities.
- Analyze and forecast sales and inventory at a style level.
- Communicate with production on receipt flow needs.
- Lead by example, engage and inspire team.
- Manage distribution to identify and execute strategies that drive business.
- Consistently provide feedback and direction to enhance team's skillset and performance.
- Partner with planner to solicit decision support when needed.
- Recognize and reward quality performance and teamwork.
- Model the Ralph Lauren way and partner closely with team leaders to align cross-functional objectives and best practices.
- Coordinate efforts of direct reports to ensure consistency of planning and distribution.
- Develop and maintain cross-divisional peer relationships.
