Associate, Stock Movement

Summary

The Associate, Stock Movement maintains an orderly department stock room and supports the selling floor by executing stock movement requests, processing merchandise transactions, and assisting with deliveries and recoveries to meet department objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all stock areas are neat, clean and orderly
• Move department fixtures as directed
• Receive merchandise onto the selling floor
• Remove hangers and D-techs from cash wraps and store appropriately
• Process price change reports, markdowns, return to vendor merchandise, and consolidations within required timeframes
• Assist selling floor with stock recovery
• Take deliveries to shipping and alterations
• Execute client transfer requests and send out same day
• Comply with health and safety policies and privacy and cyber security measures

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Ability to maintain orderly stock rooms and handle stock movement tasks
• Experience receiving merchandise and processing store transactions
• Familiarity with price change and markdown procedures
• Ability to assist selling floor with recovery and transfers
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to follow health and safety and privacy policies
