Summary
The Associate Store Director leads the SoHo flagship boutique supporting the Store Director to drive business performance, elevate the client experience, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence in a high-volume luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Director to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage, coach, and develop managers and sales teams through feedback and development plans.
- Drive sales performance and KPI ownership including productivity, conversion, and clienteling.
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and stockroom processes.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards for the flagship environment.
- Recruit, interview, and hire talent aligned with brand culture.
- Analyze sales and market trends to identify business opportunities.
- Manage escalated client situations with diplomacy and brand-aligned solutions.
- Partner with regional and corporate teams to ensure alignment with policies and goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive luxury retail experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing managers in a high-volume or flagship environment.
- Proven ability to drive KPIs and elevate the client experience in luxury retail.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze data into actionable strategies.
- Experienced in client development, CRM strategy, and operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and polished luxury-aligned presence.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, POS, CRM, and inventory management systems.
