Job Description

Summary

The Associate Store Manager supports the General Manager in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve profitable business results. The role helps lead store operations, talent development, client engagement, and an exceptional customer experience while maintaining Ralph Lauren brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business trends and support store planning and initiatives.
  • Educate the team on sales and profit performance, and help deliver the store vision and customer experience.
  • Support client development, community outreach, networking, and recruitment.
  • Coach and develop employees and help execute the store talent strategy.
  • Manage store processes, inventory control, productivity, and shrink goals.
  • Promote new selling technologies, uphold company policies, and maintain high standards on the sales floor.
  • Share business trends and profit opportunities with store and district leadership.

Requirements

  • Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
  • College degree or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong communication, business acumen, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and develop teams.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts or travel.
  • Ability to stand, move, and walk for extended periods and lift or climb as required.
