Associate Store Merchandise

Summary

Support daily merchandise operations including processing, placement, maintenance and order fulfillment on the selling floor under supervision. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing and operating equipment while following visual and merchandising standards and using store technology. Provide customer service and assist with store initiatives during peak periods and as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for the selling floor
• Place and present merchandise to maintain visual standards
• Perform floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Locate merchandise to complete customer orders and requests
• Use RF guns, PC, mobile devices and proprietary platforms to support operations
• Assist in other store initiatives and ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
• Follow direction to maintain placement and presentation standards

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders
• Strong computer skills and comfort using technology such as RF devices and Excel
• Ability to learn and retain visual merchandising standards
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with minimal supervision
• Flexible availability to meet business scheduling needs
• Dependable with ability to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks
• Valid driver license as required for occasional driving of company vehicle
